How It Works - Reset Moves

What device do I need to access the intervention?

Currently, Reset Moves is available on the iOS App Store. It works best on iPad but will also run on iPhones. If you use a different platform, please contact us. To install the app, please visit the app store. Once you have installed the App, you can immediately play the Bubble Pop game.

You will need to use the QR Code scanner with the Reset Moves Dashboard to link your players’ device into the system and unlock all of the games and features.

How to set it up

When you have the Dashboard set up, assigning a session or challenge to your player is as simple as visiting the dashboard home page, and clicking Start Session by your player’s name.

You can also start a session directly from the players’ device. (These sessions will also be remembered in the dashboard for your later inspection). From the main menu, select either Let’s Go or go into Games to either play a single game or select several games to make a mini session.

What games are involved?

A Reset Moves session is based on a series of short experiences, selected to have your player engage in different movements and mental processes. Each experience is short and sharp, to keep players engaged and on their toes.

Bubble Pop

Purpose: Boost coordination and movement accuracy while having a popping-good time!

How It Works: Move your arms, head, and knees to pop bubbles falling from the screen. Watch out—some bubbles burst into smaller ones, adding an extra challenge!

Level: Great for all ages.

Invaders

Purpose: Enhance agility and quick decision-making with this intergalactic adventure.

How It Works: Run left and right to control your Defense Turret, and jump to fire missiles to stop invading ships before they reach Earth!

Level: Can be used across all ages.

Eat It

Purpose: Improve core strength and body control in this sweet, candy-chomping game.

How It Works: Move your chest to guide the hungry head and munch all the floating lollies. No teeth, no cavities, just fun!

Level: Perfect for younger students.

No Limits

Purpose: Develop hand-eye coordination and precision with a sporty twist.

How It Works: Hit the basketballs using the correct body part as they come your way. Ready to test your reflexes?

Level: Fun for all ages.

Log Jump

Purpose: Build timing and jumping skills in this log-dodging adventure.

How It Works: Time your jumps perfectly to avoid getting hit by rolling logs. The faster they roll, the harder it gets!

Level: Great for all skill levels.

Ski Race

Purpose: Build balance and rhythm as you race down a snowy slope.

How It Works: Use smooth side-to-side motions to guide your skier down the mountain. Don’t move too fast.

Level: Best for all ages.

Mirror Motion

Purpose: Sharpen memory and movement accuracy by keeping up with the ultimate dance machine.

How It Works: Mimic the dance moves shown on-screen. Can you keep the rhythm and match every move?

Level: Perfect for students who love music and movement.

bug splat

Purpose: Enhances hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, and focus through engaging movement-based gameplay.

How It Works: Players must quickly react to splat bugs that appear on the screen . The faster and more accurate the response, the higher the score!

Level: Suitable for all ages, developing motor skills and quick decision-making.

Breathing Exercise Game

Purpose: Promote relaxation, mindfulness, and emotional regulation through guided breathing activities.

How It Works: Players follow visual and audio cues to inhale, exhale, and hold their breath in a rhythm, represented by calming animations or scenarios

Level: Suitable for all ages, especially users seeking to adjust, reset and integrate back in learning.

Match the Pairs

Purpose: Strengthen memory and physical coordination with this fast-paced matching game.

How It Works: Use your body as the connecting link between pairs before the timer runs out. Match fast to win big!

Level: Fun for all ages, especially younger players.

Cave Flight

Purpose: Improve spatial awareness and precise movements with this bat-guiding challenge.

How It Works: Help a small bat navigate through a series of pipes. Stay close to the right side of the screen for bonus points!

Level: Suitable for all ages.

Versus/ Coplay

Purpose: Foster healthy competition and improve focus, reaction time, and coordination through engaging, interactive gameplay.

How It Works:Up to 6 players compete head-to-head by completing challenges such across the individual games. Using the prompts the user can adjust how many players play in the versus option, what games are played and for how long per round, making it inclusive and fun for everyone involved.

Students, parents, family members can all get involved! The faster and more accurately they complete tasks, the higher they score.

Level: Ideal for all ages and skill levels, encouraging social interaction, personal bests and physical engagement.

Reset Moves offers timed movement sessions designed to boost physical activity, enhance focus, and challenge cognitive skills. Choose from 3-minute, 5-minute, 8-minute, or 10-minute sessions, perfect for quick resets or extended engagement.

How It Works for Organisations- Schools & Therapy Centres

Getting started is easy! Simply follow the step-by-step PDF instructions to set up your Dashboard. Once set up, assigning a session or challenge to a player is as simple as:
